Augustus Nazzaro lives and works in New York where he is currently pursuing his MFA from the School of Visual Arts.

His work explores the image and its pervasive role in shaping of our world today.  Through various levels of processing his works function simultaneously as both representation and abstraction.  They expose the divide between the depiction of and the knowing of an image while exploring deeper themes of politics, concealment and violence.
