Augustus Nazzaro lives and works in New York where he is currently receiving his MFA from the School of Visual Arts. His work explores the tension inherent in mediated images by subverting them through realist graphite drawings. Allowing the viewer to reflect on the nature and origin of the image and its often complicated meaning.
